Our love for doodles started with Gracie, our F1 chocolate labradoodle. We were looking for a dog that would be good with kids, loving, smart and shed less then a lab or golden retriever. A friend of ours told us about a new cross-breed called a labradoodle and suggested we check them out. It didn't take long for us to decide that this was the dog for us! Shortly after that Gracie joined our family. She was everything we had hoped for and more!
Gracie is now graying but still has the heart of a young pup and is a vital part of our family. Gracie was purchased as a pet and never had doodle pups of her own, however, she is a wonderful auntie to the puppies that we raise here.
About a year later, we met our first goldendoodle and fell madly in love ... again. After much research, we decided we wanted to breed and raise these darling dogs.
And as for breeding doodles, see for yourself ...

April (Mom)
That's me. I'm Mom to our two wonderful kids and wife to David. I take care of the daily needs of our puppies and dogs, I answer all the emails and phone calls, I update all our photos and videos, and I make sure the website looks good. The first time I set eyes on a doodle, I knew I was in love and now can't imagine life without a doodle by my side.

David (Dad)
Wonderful husband and father to our two kids. Works full-time plus overtime. Picks up the slack when mom has a bad day and helps bathe dogs and puppies. Has picked up more dog poop than most people see in a lifetime and does most of our yard work. Is an all around good guy.

Alyssa (13)
"President of Socialization" is her official title. She makes sure each puppy is loved and played with daily -- they are her real stuffed animals. You can often find puppies sleeping in doll beds. She also helps dad pick up dog poop and gives most of the baths to our adult dogs. Alyssa enjoys frog hunting in the summer. She loves horses and someday hopes to have a horse farm.

Aaron (10)
Can spot or smell a puppy accident from across the house -- he notifies us the moment it occurs! He helps with yard work and likes to play with the puppies too. For fun, Aaron likes to play with his sister, loves baseball and enjoys playing video games.

We live on 10 beautiful wooded acres. Our dogs love to run, swim and play in our yard!

Dear Dogs,
The dishes with the paw print are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate of food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.
The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Beating me to the bottom is not the object.Tripping me doesn't help because I fall faster than you can run.
I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort. Dogs can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.
For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, bark, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years -- canine attendance is not required.
The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dog's butt. I cannot stress this enough!

Excerpts from a Cat's Daily Diary
Day 983 of my captivity ...
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nugget. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.
The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am.
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means and how to use it to my advantage.
Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.
I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.
The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now ...
