Let's start with doodle types:

Goldendoodle - Golden Retriever and Poodle

English Goldendoodle - English Golden Retriever and Poodle
Then there's those letters and numbers (a GANA classification): Please note; In an effort to streamline and make it easier to understand, GANA updated it's classification in 12/2010.

F1 Goldendoodle
A puppy is classified as F1 when it's parents are a Golden Retreiver and a Poodle.
This is Becket -- an example of an F1 English Goldendoodle.

F1B Goldendoodle
A puppy is classified as F1B when it's parents are a Goldendoodle and a Poodle.
This is Lizzy -- an example of an F1B Goldendoodle.

F2 Goldendoodle
A puppy is classified as F2 when:
both parents are F1 Goldendoodles

Multi-Generation Goldendoodle
A puppy is classified as multi-generation (aka multi-gen) when both parents are Goldendoodles. - One parent must be an F1B or multigen. A Poodle bred to a multi-gen Goldendoodle also constitutes a multi-gen.

And don't forget the size (this is a guideline not a rule):

Mini/Medium - 25 to 45 pounds

Standard - 45 to 65 pounds
